About Us
Serving a catchment population of 10.3 million people across the regions of Mbeya, Njombe, Songwe, Katavi, Rukwa, Ruvuma, and Iringa, MZRH stands as a beacon of hope and healing. Since our upgrade from Mbeya Regional Hospital in 1984/1985, we have grown to accommodate 826 beds, manage 1,200 outpatient cases daily, and admit 120 patients each day. As a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Dar es Salaam's Mbeya College of Health and Allied Sciences (UDSM-MCHAS), we are committed to nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals.
