Department of Orthopedics and Trauma

Specialized Services

Our Orthopedics and Trauma department is home to a team of eight highly skilled orthopaedic surgeons dedicated to the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of various orthopaedic and fracture-related conditions. They bring expertise and compassionate care to every patient, ensuring the best outcomes and quickest recoveries.

Outpatient Services

We offer comprehensive outpatient services tailored to meet the needs of all patients:

  • Insured Patients: Clinics are available every weekday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. On Saturdays, the clinic services start from 08:00 a.m to 02:00 P.M.
  • Fast Track (IPPM) Patients: Clinics are available every day of the week.
  • Cash Patients: Clinics are available on Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Our outpatient department features 9 consultation rooms:

  • 6 doctor consultation rooms
  • 1 procedure room
  • 2 wound dressing rooms

We serve an average of 80 to 120 outpatients daily, ensuring each patient receives attentive and efficient care.

Inpatient Services

Our inpatient facilities provide comprehensive care and comfort for orthopaedic patients:

  • General Wards:
    • Ward 1: Orthopedic Male Patients
    • Ward 3: Orthopedic Female Patients
    • Ward 7: Orthopedic Pediatric Patients
  • Private Wing: Available for patients seeking more privacy and personalized care.

Operative Services

We offer extensive operative services with a focus on precision and recovery:

  • Operative Days:
    • Emergency cases are operated daily based on the patient's stability.
    • Cash Patients: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday
    • Insured Patients: All weekdays except Sundays
    • Fast Track Patients: Every day of the week
  • Major Procedures:
    • Surgical debridement and fixations for open fractures
    • Ankle reconstruction surgeries
    • ORIF (Open Reduction and Internal Fixation) for various fractures: Tibia, Patella, Femur, Clavicle, Humerus, Radius/Ulna
    • Pelvic-acetabular fractures reconstruction
    • Joint dislocation open reductions
    • Joint replacement surgeries (total knee, total hip, hemiarthroplasty)
    • Elbow reconstruction surgeries
    • Soft tissue reconstruction surgeries (flaps, grafts, tendon transfers)
    • Intra Thecal injections
